Job Description
Our client a nonbank financial institution licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking to hire an Accountant.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate books and records
- Preparing Management Accounts
- Preparing Regulatory reports
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws (tax filing and remittance)
- Managing relationships with our bankers and tax authorities
Requirements
- First degree in Accounting or other related fields
- 4 6 years of relevant working experience
- ACA or ACCA certified at least 2 years postqualification
- Work experience in a financial institution is preferable
- Good understanding of IFRS accounting principles
- Good understanding of relevant tax laws
- Good knowledge of Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Modelling
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Excellent ethical values
- Meticulous attention to detail.
