Sync Robotics is expanding their talented team of individuals and is currently seeking an Office/Warehouse Assistant who would enjoy a hybrid role responsible for administrative tasks and handson warehouse responsibilities. As the successful candidate you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the smooth operation of the company by demonstrating a keen eye for detail accuracy and a proactive approach to working with a team supporting front of house administration and warehouse functions. Key responsibilities will include:
- Support with general clerical duties including filing paperwork answering phones handling incoming and outgoing correspondence checking mail and maintaining office supplies;
- Support procurement by managing and placing orders with vendors maintaining inventory levels setting up new vendors following up on overdue POs finding alternatives to items unavailable and negotiating better pricing;
- Prepare and process orders including picking packing and shipping;
- Assist in scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments including order processing inventory management and coordinating with the carriers ensuring ontime delivery;
- Receive incoming shipments check contents against purchase orders and packing slips reporting any issues;
- Manage returns and communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery issues;
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management software Total ETO;
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse including organizing stock conducting monthly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies; labelling and storing items in the proper location;
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks;
- Perform additional duties and provide support to various departments as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certificate is a plus;
- Previous experience in warehouse/logistics and administration is preferred;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (word Excel PowerPoint Outlook);
- Proficiency in inventory management software Total ETO is an asset;
- Strong administrative skills including a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment;
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with a collaborative work style;
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a teambased environment;
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality and integrity;
- Excellent organizational multitasking abilities and time management skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work;
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Ability to lift heavy objects of 50lbs or less;
- Forklift certification preferred but not required; training will be provided.
