Overview:
The Clean and Dry Rooms Senior Design Engineer (C&D Room SDE) will be the central point of contact for all design integration and operational requirements related to clean and dry room environments within the facility. This role is essential for bridging the technical gaps between design construction commissioning and operations ensuring the seamless integration of process machinery into these highly specialized environments.The C&D Room SDE will work closely with crossfunctional teams including discipline leads from design construction commissioning and operations as well as external stakeholders and engineering companies. The ultimate goal is to deliver a clean and dry room environment that meets all process operational and technical specifications from project concept through to operational handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Project Management: Oversee the technical aspects of integrating process equipment into functional clean and dry room environments throughout the projects lifecycle.
- Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary technical authority for all clean and dry room requirements interfacing with stakeholders and teams to ensure alignment and project success.
- Process Environment Delivery: Ensure that the clean and dry room environments are fully functional meeting all technical and process requirements.
- Interface Management: Oversee the integration of utilities process equipment exhaust systems waste/dust collection and clean and dry room operations.
- CrossDisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with multiple disciplines such as MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) CSA (Civil Structural Architectural) Material Handling Factory Automation IT and Advanced Engineering to ensure smooth project .
- Technical Bridging: Bridge the technical gaps between design construction commissioning and maintenance to create a cohesive project flow and ensure timely operational readiness.
- Design Reviews and Specifications: Participate in the creation of requirement specifications design reviews and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for process equipment to ensure compliance with clean and dry room standards.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary communication link between the internal organization and external engineering companies to ensure all technical requirements and milestones are clearly understood and met.
Scope of Work:
- Project Lifecycle Management: Involvement in the project from concept to operational handover ensuring all milestones are met and the clean and dry room environments are fully integrated and functional at every stage.
- Utilities and Waste Management: Oversee exhaust systems waste and dust collection and other utilities to ensure they meet the stringent requirements of clean and dry room environments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to meet technical and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle including design construction and commissioning phases.
Requirements:
- Strong background in clean and dry room design and integration.
- Experience in technical project management particularly in environments requiring precise process and environmental controls.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and bridge the gap between design and operational teams.
- Effective communication skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
This role is critical to ensuring that the clean and dry room environments meet the stringent operational and technical requirements needed for the projects success providing a key technical link between design construction commissioning and longterm operations.
