Job Description
Role: Closures Design
Location Raymond OH
Job Description:
o Thorough knowledge of engineering design & development concepts of automotive closures system .
o Very good proficiency in CATIA V5/V6
o At Least 3 years of proven experience designing highvolume designs of closures assembly / parts
o Development of door outer panel (ASurface) in collaboration with OEM Design Studio Design Engineering CAE etc.
o Development of latch reinforcements intrusion beam hinge reinforcement door inner panel and other structural panel
o Work with Closures Mechanisms team to package latches system
o Ability to create and completion of Sheet metal parts e.g. brackets Panels Sash etc
o Design of automotive component parts in CATIA V6. Experience in creating 3D designs and 2D drawings (e.g. CATIA V6 only)
o Actively engage with Automotive OEM design engineers to collaborate on design projects
o Collaborate with key closures system and sheet metal component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
