Searching for an opportunity that just adds up We re looking for a new Financial Controller with a strong enough grasp of the figures to balance managing hotel assets maintaining a centralised accounting environment and making accurate forecasts.
The new Financial Controller will directly report to the General Manager of the hotel supervising a team of 4 people.
Every day is different but you ll mostly be:
Directing everyday financial activity and empowering your team to deliver in their roles
Making sure guest bills are accurate and helping resolve any queries
Ensuring financial control procedures are ethical and legal
Preparing financial analysis and budgets as well as reviewing rates and taking part in sales strategy meetings
Managing accounts payable to balance cash flow and protect our reputation with our suppliers
Drawing down the monthly P&L Report and build the financial statement
Analyse the variance between P&L items and budget objectives
Elaborate and update the periodical forecast for the hotel
Monitor the performance audit area to achieve efficient results
What we need from you
Bachelor s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting or Finance
Or three years in hotel accounting or internal audit with one year in a supervisory role
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must speak fluent English
