Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specializes in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas we guide you through professional registration job placement visa and employment permit processing.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for our Nursing Home in Co. Offaly Ireland.

We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the director of nursing in managing the care staff clinically and professionally and in providing handson resident care.

  • Ascertain that the highest feasible level of general hygiene and food safety standards are maintained.

  • Engage in clinical management activities in conjunction with the DON such as tending to residents needs interacting with residents families and representatives supervising employees keeping an eye on performance and standards creating rules and procedures and conducting training.

  • Organise the quality and safety system taking into account resident participation and all facets of clinical risk management.

  • Regularly take part in staff coaching and appraisals.

  • Work with the Homes senior management team to schedule manage and oversee personnel.

  • Set an example for others. a committed timely and competent group

  • Take part in the process of creating policies.



Requirements

  • NMBI Enrolment
  • Requires prior experience managing clinical nurses in a care centre setting.
  • Three years of postregistration experience during the previous six years in a nursing care setting.
  • Postregistration management certification

  • It is preferred to have training in gerontology and/or dementia.

  • extensive familiarity with HIQA rules guidelines and governance in the context of nursing homes

  • Outstanding organizational leadership and communication abilities

  • Show that you can adapt to change and that youre dedicated to learning and progress throughout the Care Centre.

  • Possess the capacity to manage your workload efficiently and quickly adapt to changing demands.
