Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Senior SDET to join our dynamic team. As a Senior SDET you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks ensuring the quality and performance of complex applications. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance the development process and maintain highquality standards across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the high quality of software products.
- Work closely with software developers product managers and DevOps teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design and execute complex test cases create test plans and define testing strategies for both functional and nonfunctional aspects of the product.
- Identify log and track bugs through to resolution.
- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines include automated testing stages.
- Collaborate in code reviews to ensure testability and code quality.
- Drive improvements in automation processes and testing methodologies.
- Mentor junior SDETs and provide guidance on best practices for automation and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 36 years of handson experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium Appium TestNG JUnit or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies both functional and nonfunctional (performance security etc.).
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman RestAssured or similar.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work with distributed teams.
