Job Description
IT Security Analyst needs 3 years it sec. experience analyzes phishing emails and associated malware
IT Security Analyst requires:
Understands and updates knowledge of core operating systems applications and networking functionality and concepts
Hybrid 12 days wkly: Mason OH; Foothill Ranch CA
Understands and facilitates company compliance with relevant regulations such as ADA HIPAA HITECH PCI PII HITRUST and ISO 27002.
SIEM IDS/IPS Firewall Endpoint Proxy Mail Web Portal configuration and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

IT Security Analyst duties:
monitors updates and configures security systems including siem ids/ips firewall endpoint proxy mail web portal configuration and data loss prevention (dlp) analyzes phishing emails and associated malware and engages support teams to contain clean and recover
ensures that proprietary / confidential data systems and facilities are protected
creates and implements standard operating policies procedures guidelines and processes for it security functions keeps abreast of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities to maintain situational awareness and applies lessons learned to current procedures
