Job Description
Job Title: LPN
Location: Pine Ridge Service Kyle Health Center Wanblee health Center Lacreek Health Center SD
Start Date: November 2024
Duration: 6 to 12 Months
Shift Schedule: 8 or 10hours shift days/nights weekend holiday
Qualification:
Education: highest degree attained in Nursing
Certifications: Any state RN license is acceptable
Certifications: BLS
Experience: LPN must have at least two (2) years or more experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
LPN shall work in an OutPatient Clinic Nursing Department but may infrequently be floated to the Emergency Room or Acute Care InPatient units to act as a patient observer or pass medications or other intermittent care needs as staffing needs arise
- Provide patient and family education on care diagnosis and treatment implications.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in various settings.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records according to IHS regulations.
- Follow infection control safety procedures and IHS facility standards.
- Develop adjust and evaluate individual care plans based on patient needs and goals.
