Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming strong problemsolving skills and a proven track record of designing developing and implementing complex SAP solutions. This role will involve working closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality SAP solutions that meet business needs and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain custom ABAP programs reports interfaces enhancements and forms.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional solutions.
- Work on SAP modules such as SAP ECC SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori to develop and implement enhancements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and endusers to gather and understand requirements troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
- Optimize and performancetune existing ABAP programs to improve efficiency and system performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ABAP developments including design specifications testing plans and user guides.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices coding standards and development guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of SAP transports and changes across development quality assurance and production environments.
- Stay uptodate with the latest SAP technologies and trends and recommend improvements or new approaches as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of handson experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong understanding of SAP architecture and development tools.
- Proven experience with various SAP modules (e.g. SD MM FI/CO PP) and integration points.
- Extensive knowledge of ABAP programming concepts including objectoriented ABAP ALV reporting BAPI BADI user exits and enhancements.
- Experience with SAP HANA CDS views AMDP and Fiori/UI5 development is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
