Job Description

  • Work collaboratively with the regional People Team to deliver on Egypt People priorities, aligned to the regional People Strategic Plan. Provide reporting as required.

  • Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on various People matters including employee development, performance management, performance appraisals, retention and engagement.

  • Recruitment of new staff where required including sourcing, shortlisting, screening, interviewing, interview scheduling for hiring managers, issuing offers and contracts.

  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in Egypt, including employment contracts, working hours, and leave entitlements.

  • Oversee and ensure maintenance of accurate and up-to-date People records and documentation.

  • Develop, update, implement and communicate policies and procedures.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the People strategic plan.

  • Work with the wider regional team to develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

  • Assist in the implementation of performance management systems to drive employee productivity and engagement.

  • Compensation and benefits administration.

  • Ensure health and safety of employees.

  • Design and implement CSR initiatives to continuously enhance team collaboration and company culture.

  • Stay updated and informed of labour laws and practices within the country and regionally, and changes to these laws and practices. Keep the regional team updated with changes in laws.

  • Other tasks as required.
