The Job: Senior Industrial Engineer
Salary range: $100000 $130000.
Role Description:
Industrial Engineers play a pivotal role in the development implementation and management of engineering projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing methods operations and processes. Partnering closely with Operations Design Engineering and Automation Engineering Industrial Engineers drive initiatives to improve efficiency reduce costs enhance product quality and increase productivity while prioritizing safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- A handson approach with 80% of the day spent on the factory floor understanding problems and driving realtime results.
- Align processes measurements standards and efforts with a primary focus on safety delivery quality and cost.
- Utilize a strong analytical approach to problemsolving developing costeffective solutions to operational challenges.
- Oversee installation and process improvement projects driving productivity and technology enhancements.
- Ensure all project assignments are completed within established scope budget and schedule utilizing critical thinking and problemsolving skills to drive operational excellence.
- Take accountability for creating business plans resolving pain points and driving assignments and activities.
- Seek out optimal value through short and longterm solutions.
- Coordinate and communicate technical information effectively creating easytoreference documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively to realize results and drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate complex decisions educate and motivate others to gain alignment through effective storytelling.
- Establish strategic partnerships across internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate on solutions.
- Provide datadriven insights to influence business strategies and drive impactful business decisions.
- Establish scorecards and KPI reporting to drive throughput productivity and engineering standards.
- Partner with supply chain teams to develop new tools and processes enhancing operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 years of handson experience with automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Strong initiative and willingness to adapt in ambiguous situations with the ability to influence peers and drive .
