Job Description:
Position Overview: The Associate Machine Learning Analyst will support our data science and machine learning initiatives by assisting in the development implementation and optimization of machine learning models. This role involves working closely with senior analysts and data scientists to analyze data build predictive models and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Preparation: Collect clean and preprocess large datasets from various sources. Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights.
- Model Development: Assist in the design and implementation of machine learning models. Utilize algorithms such as regression classification clustering and timeseries analysis to solve business problems.
- Evaluation & Optimization: Evaluate model performance using metrics like accuracy precision recall and AUC. Optimize models for better performance and scalability.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create reports and visualizations to present findings and model results to stakeholders. Communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including data engineers business analysts and product managers to understand requirements and integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems.
- Continuous Learning: Stay uptodate with the latest developments in machine learning and data science. Apply new techniques and technologies to improve processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Experience: 13 years of experience in data analysis or machine learning preferably in a professional setting. Experience with internships or academic projects involving machine learning is also acceptable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks like scikitlearn TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problemsolving abilities and experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
