Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Junior Fund Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. This entrylevel position is ideal for recent graduates or earlycareer professionals with a passion for finance and accounting. The Junior Fund Accounting Analyst will support the fund accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records preparing reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Accounting: Assist in the daily operations of fund accounting including maintaining general ledger accounts processing transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports including balance sheets income statements and fund performance reports.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and transactions for accuracy and completeness and assist in identifying discrepancies or issues.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Communication: Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve accounting issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions and documentation for audit purposes.
- System Support: Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Experience: 02 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably with exposure to fund accounting or financial services.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint); familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
