Job Description
Are you a detailoriented efficient individual with a strong work ethic Affinity Services is looking for energetic and dependable Warehouse Pick Packers to join our logistics team. In this role youll be responsible for accurately picking packing and preparing orders for shipment ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and customers receive their products on time.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking: Accurately select items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets ensuring that the correct products and quantities are picked.
- Packing Orders: Safely and efficiently pack items for shipment ensuring that all packages are secure and labeled correctly.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse by checking inventory levels reporting stock shortages and participating in stock counts when needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for any defects or damages before packing and make sure orders meet quality standards before they are shipped.
- Loading & Shipping: Help with loading packages onto delivery trucks and prepare them for shipping according to company guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols including proper handling of equipment and adherence to workplace safety standards.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse clean organized and free of hazards by maintaining a tidy workspace.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Matric certificate required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 20kg.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to following warehouse safety protocols.
