Job Description
Job Title: Cognos Reporting Analyst (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and deploy reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics to meet business requirements.
- Gather and analyze reporting requirements from stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and datadriven recommendations.
- Create and maintain complex Cognos reports including ad hoc reports operational reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports by performing data validation and troubleshooting data issues.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting needs and provide ongoing support and training on Cognos reporting tools.
- Optimize report performance and improve reporting efficiency by identifying and implementing best practices.
- Stay current with Cognos updates and new features to leverage advancements in reporting technology.
- Document report specifications data definitions and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with data governance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or a related field.
- Experience working with IBM Cognos Analytics including report development and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in Cognos Report Studio Query Studio Analysis Studio and Framework Manager.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and actionable format.
- Experience with SQL and database concepts to support data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
