Job Description
Job Title: Data Reporting Analyst (Finance/Workday Adaptive)
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months Contract
Job Description:
Current Situation:
- The client has implemented Adaptive Planning but is not very familiar with its functionalities.
- They have a consulting group recommended through Adaptive Planning to assist with the transition from NetSuite to Adaptive Insight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building internal financial reports currently relying heavily on Excel for data management and reporting.
- Existing reporting processes involve piecing together various data sources which is inefficient.
- The client is looking to enhance their financial reporting to meet private equity requirements and management needs.
Future Goals:
- Aim to produce comprehensive financial reports to satisfy PE requirements.
- Plans to eventually incorporate margin analysis and improve revenue reporting.
- The client is expanding their sales efforts which may necessitate more robust reporting capabilities.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables index match and VLOOKUP functions (advanced skills are not necessary).
- A solid understanding of Adaptive Planning ideally with 35 years of experience including the ability to create creative dashboards.
- Familiarity with SQL is a nicetohave but not mandatory.
Data Reporting Analyst (Finance/Workday Adaptive)
Job Description:
- Remotely develop and maintain financial and other operational reports in Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Load actual values from operational systems prepared forecasts for given events and prepared budgets and scenarios in Adaptive Planning.
- Build appropriate forecasting models including user input/interfaces of forecast drivers assumptions parameters and rulebased scenarios.
- Build and deploy functional level reporting for periodic report distribution including email web.
- Consolidation of plans into income statements balance sheets or performance metrics dashboards.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.

- Advanced Workday Adaptive Planning
- Advanced Level Microsoft Suite (Excel Access Words etc.)
- Oracle NetSuite
- Zoom/Slack
