Overview:
The Social Media Manager/ Brand Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing social media and brand strategies to enhance the organizations online presence and drive brand awareness. They are responsible for managing and growing the organizations social media platforms creating engaging content and implementing marketing campaigns to promote the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Create and manage the content calendar including writing and editing compelling copy for social media posts
- Monitor social media trends tools and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the use of social media
- Manage and grow the organizations online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Measure the success of social media campaigns using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed
- Stay uptodate with social media best practices and technologies
- Manage social media advertising budgets and optimize campaign performance
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the brand and its products or services
- Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all channels
- Work with external partners agencies and influencers to expand the brands reach
- Identify and engage with key influencers and brand advocates
- Create and manage the social media content calendar
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback and inquiries on social media platforms
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful social media and marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of social media platforms their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
- Excellent writing editing and communication skills
- Experience with social media management tools analytics and insights
- Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas
- Knowledge of SEO keyword research and Google Analytics
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of advertising strategies and familiarity with online advertising platforms
- Experience in content creation graphic design or video production is a plus
- Ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
