Overview:
The US IT Recruiter plays a crucial role in identifying attracting and hiring top IT talent for our organization. They are responsible for sourcing screening and presenting qualified candidates to fill both technical and nontechnical positions within the company. The US IT Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers and team members to understand the technical requirements and culture fit needed for each role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Screen resumes and job applications
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
- Coordinate with hiring managers to define job requirements and expectations
- Promote companys reputation as a great place to work
- Keep detailed records of past applicants information including resumes assignments and interview evaluations
- Manage all communication with candidates effectively
- Conduct job interviews and provide feedback to candidates
- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Assist in the preparation of the offer letters background checks and closing of candidates
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and techniques to identify talent
- Participate in recruiting events and sourcing activities
- Stay uptodate with current recruiting methods and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
- Proven work experience as a US IT Recruiter or similar role
- Handson experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone Skype inperson)
- Experience with sourcing techniques
- Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
- Ability to manage a high volume of open positions simultaneously
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and resume databases
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with social media professional networks and relevant job boards
- Technical knowledge in IT to understand job requirements and assess candidate qualifications
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Certification in HR or recruiting is a plus
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting for IT positions
