Job Description
Overview:
The APIM (Apigee) Support role at Tata Consultancy Services is a critical position responsible for providing technical support for APIM (Apigee) platform ensuring the smooth functioning of API management and integration solutions. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the stability and performance of the organizations API ecosystem contributing to seamless connectivity and data exchange.
MustHave:
Good experience in Apigee Support
Good experience in Java
Strong experience in Spring boot
Good understanding in SQL concepts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for APIM (Apigee) platform
- Monitor and troubleshoot API management and integration issues
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues
- Implement and configure API policies and security measures
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and outages
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization
- Assist in API lifecycle management
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams
- Participate in oncall rotation for support
- Stay updated with industry best practices and trends
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Professional certification in APIM or related technology
- 2 years of experience in APIM (Apigee) support or administration
- Proficiency in API management and integration
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Ability to analyze and interpret system logs and metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Knowledge of security protocols and standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
