Overview
The AEM Developer plays a crucial role in the organization by developing implementing and maintaining web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to ensure a seamless digital experience for end users. They work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality scalable solutions that meet the business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and developing AEM components templates and workflows
- Integrating AEM with other applications and systems
- Ensuring high performance and optimal user experience
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement web designs
- Writing clean modular and maintainable code
- Conducting code reviews and troubleshooting
- Customizing and extending AEM functionalities
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Implementing best practices for security and compliance
- Identifying and addressing technical debt and software defects
- Participating in crossfunctional Agile teams
- Supporting continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
- Participating in requirements gathering and solution design
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers
- Staying updated with the latest AEM trends tools and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in AEM development and implementation
- Proficiency in Java OSGi HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with RESTful web services and APIs
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of web content management systems and digital marketing
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Certifications in AEM or related technologies (e.g. Adobe Certified Expert) preferred
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) preferred
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Azure) preferred
- Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g. React Angular) preferred
- Understanding of SEO and web analytics preferred
