Job Description

Overview

As a Customer Support Specialist fluent in Tamil & English you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our Tamilspeaking customers. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with product inquiries issue resolution and general support. This position is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty as well as contributing to the overall success of the organizations customer support initiatives.


Key responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone email and chat
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving product or service issues
  • Deliver personalized support to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams for resolution
  • Maintain thorough and uptodate knowledge of products and services
  • Document customer interactions and reported issues
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve overall customer support processes
  • Contribute to the development of support resources such as FAQs and knowledge base articles
  • Identify and escalate trends in customer inquiries to prevent potential issues
  • Adhere to established customer support guidelines and standards
  • Meet or exceed individual and teambased performance metrics
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance customer support skills
  • Assist in onboarding and training new customer support team members
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment


Required qualifications

  • Fluency in Tamil and proficiency in English
  • Proven experience in a customer support or service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries and issues
  • Familiarity with customer support software and tools
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer interactions
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Understanding of customercentric approaches and strategies
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
