Research Engineer On Point Cloud Processing

Job Description:

• Location: Fully remote or hybrid EU timezone (CET / 2hours)
• Languages: English is required

Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Point Cloud Processing Specialist for a permanent position (CDI).

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and optimize algorithms for point cloud alignment and registration ensuring precision efficiency and robustness.
• Develop techniques for point cloud segmentation denoising and simplification.
• Analyze and enhance the performance of these solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers to deliver cohesive and reliable products.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in 3D data processing contributing innovative ideas and approaches to tackle complex challenges.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent in Computer Graphics or a related field with a focus on 3D data processing and point cloud processing.
• Strong background in algorithm development particularly in point cloud transformation and mesh processing.
• Proficiency in programming languages especially C and Python.
• Familiarity with relevant libraries frameworks and tools in 3D computer graphics and computational geometry.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Selfreliance innovative mindset and ability to work well in a team.
