Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Linux/Ubuntu Administrator to join our team. In this role you will manage and maintain our Linux/Ubuntubased systems with a particular focus on our RedHat environment. If you have a solid background in Linux administration and are excited about the prospect of learning new technologies like SAP HANA this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration: Administer and maintain Linux/Ubuntu systems and servers ensuring their stability and performance.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and optimize system configurations to ensure smooth operations.
Software Management: Install configure and update software applications as needed to meet operational requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to implement new technologies and improve system functionalities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 23 years of experience in Linux/Ubuntu administration with a strong understanding of RedHat environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing Linux/Ubuntu systems with a solid grasp of server configurations and performance tuning.
ProblemSolving: Excellent problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to system issues.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
HANA Experience: While experience with SAP HANA is not mandatory a willingness to engage in HANA training is essential.
