Job Description

Maintenance Coordinator

Our client an international food and manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator Afternoon Shift (Monday Friday; 12:30 p.m. 9 p.m.)

The Maintenance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring maintenance excellence enhancing equipment reliability and leading cultural transformation efforts. You will coordinate work orders manage parts inventory lead process improvements and champion changes to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of equipment in our facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve plant equipment and machinery reliability.
  • Assist in strategic planning to minimize equipment downtime and reduce repetitive failures.
  • Identify and prioritize maintenance tasks focusing on proactive approaches.
  • Procure routine and critical maintenance parts ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Apply strategic purchasing expertise industry standards and 5S methodology for inventory management.
  • Assign manage and assess work orders and parts inventory requests.
  • Improve maintenance efficiency and reliability through work orders and project management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement creating detailed reports.
  • Lead maintenance operational expenditure projects and reliabilityfocused initiatives.
  • Use Fiix (may transfer to SAP) for work order management.
  • Lead cultural transformation through best practices such as Lean TPM RCM and FMEA.

Requirements:

  • Postsecondary certification in engineering technology or trades
  • Certification in CMRP PMP FMEA or MMP (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production maintenance
  • Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices and principles
  • Experience using CMMS systems like Fiix or SAP
