Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at our mining operation in northern New York State. This position requires relocation to the local area and involves working 5 shifts of 10 hours each with 2 days off per week. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment ensuring safe and efficient operation within the mine.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and run cable wire and communication lines as required in the mining environment.
- Perform mechanical installations including mounting junction boxes (Jboxes) control boxes and switch boxes.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and prints for installation and repair work.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits motors fans controllers Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and transformers to ensure proper operation.
- Perform electrical terminations and splicing including highvoltage splicing as needed.
- Develop knowledge of hoisting and crushing operations and provide troubleshooting support for these systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
- Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
- Must be able to carry out tasks without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of oneself or others due to the safetysensitive nature of the role.
- Willingness to relocate to the area and work a schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off per week.
