Job Description
We are hiring for our client FLAM.
Overview:
As a Backend Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining the core logic and database components of our software applications. Your expertise in backend technologies and systems will be essential in ensuring the scalability reliability and performance of our systems driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing efficient secure and scalable backend services and APIs
- Designing and optimizing database structures and queries for maximum performance
- Collaborating with frontend developers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver highquality features
- Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
- Writing unit tests and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and improve overall system architecture
- Deploying and maintaining backend services in cloud environments
- Utilizing microservices architecture and integrating with thirdparty platforms and services
- Participating in Agile development processes sprint planning and retrospectives
- Troubleshooting and debugging production issues in a timely manner
- Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in backend development using languages such as Golang Python or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of database management systems including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices design patterns and architectural principles
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and use related tools like Jira and Confluence
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of security principles and practices in backend development
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
