Job Description
Experience with or knowledge of Linux operating systems and servers current equipment and technologies enterprise backup and recovery procedures systems performancemonitoring tools active directories virtualization HTTP traffic content delivery and caching Knowledge of Unix systems administration Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group security permissions group policies print services); research eventlog warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers servers routers switches firewalls printers phones security updates; support internet intranet LANs WANs and network segments Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root causes and provide technical support when needed Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems including backups Proven success in an IT role
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ MBA/ M.Sc./ related field. Proficiency with Linuxbased operating systems (Red Hat CentOS Ubuntu etc.). Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python). Familiarity with networking security protocols and virtualization. Experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure) is preferred. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
