Overview
The Gastroenterologist Consultant DM DNB plays a crucial role in providing expert medical care to patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. This position is pivotal in the organization as it directly impacts the diagnosis treatment and management of Gastroenterology cases in Bijnor Uttar Pradesh. The Gastroenterologist Consultant will be responsible for delivering highquality medical care providing consultations and contributing to the success of the hospitals Gastroenterology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
- Performing endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopies and colonoscopies.
- Conducting consultations with patients and providing expert medical advice.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and medical imaging.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participating in medical research and contributing to the advancement of Gastroenterology.
- Supervising and mentoring medical staff and residents.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
- Participating in oncall schedules and providing emergency care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
- Board certification from the National Board of Examinations (DNB) in Gastroenterology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Uttar Pradesh India.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in Gastroenterology practice.
- Proven expertise in performing endoscopic procedures.
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to handle complex Gastroenterology cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teambased healthcare environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and medical education.
- Sound understanding of ethical and legal standards in healthcare.
