Job Description: HROO (Human Resources & Operations Officer) Founding Team Member

Work Commitment: 1620 hours per week Remote

DasVita is a fastgrowing agritech startup focused on delivering cuttingedge solutions to meet industryspecific demands. We are currently in our early stages working on two core products: a B2B consulting and courses platform and an eCommerce aggregator for smallscale businesses. As a member of the founding team you will play a crucial role in shaping our growth trajectory and establishing a strong foundation for scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Leadership:
- HR Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the overall HR strategy in line with the company s longterm vision and objectives. This includes defining the company culture values and HR policies from scratch.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead the recruitment process sourcing top talent and managing the onboarding process for key roles. Focus on building a motivated and productive team that is aligned with our growth goals.
- Performance Management: Establish and manage performance review systems to foster an environment of feedback development and continuous improvement. Define KPIs for team members to ensure accountability and progress tracking.
- Employee Engagement: Design initiatives to keep employees engaged and maintain a positive collaborative remote work environment. Promote teambuilding activities leadership development and career growth paths for employees.
Operations Management:
- Process Optimization: Oversee and streamline all operational processes ensuring that the business runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes the development and implementation of workflows and procedures.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage key operational aspects like budgeting resource allocation vendor management and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Remote Team Management: Handle coordination and communication across a fully remote distributed team ensuring seamless operations and productivity. Implement tools and systems for effective project management and collaboration.
- Scaling & Growth Strategy: Assist in scaling the companys operations identifying growth opportunities and implementing systems and processes to support expansion while minimizing overhead costs.
Strategic Advisory:
- Founding Team Support: Act as a strategic partner to the founding team offering insights and expertise on HR and operational challenges helping guide longterm decisionmaking.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives within the company as we grow addressing any resistance or challenges and facilitating smooth transitions across teams and functions.
- Crisis Management: Design and execute crisis management protocols to ensure business continuity mitigating risks related to human resources or operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in HR and operations preferably with significant experience in startups or highgrowth environments. You should have handson experience in managing talent pipelines creating HR policies and operational oversight from the ground up.
- Startup Expertise: Exposure to working with or building startups with the ability to navigate ambiguity bootstrap operations and thrive in fastpaced environments.
- Remote Work: Experience managing distributed remote teams using digital collaboration tools like Slack Asana or Trello.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of scaling teams implementing performance systems and fostering a positive inclusive work culture.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A strong entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building things from scratch and the resilience to deal with the challenges of a startup environment.
