Mandatory skills Proofpoint Email Security

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proofpoint Email Security SME to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of Proofpoint’s email security solutions and will be responsible for implementing managing and optimizing these solutions to protect our organization’s email infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation and Configuration: Deploy and configure Proofpoint Email Security solutions including Email Protection Threat Response and Email Encryption.
Monitoring and Management: Monitor email security systems for threats and vulnerabilities ensuring optimal performance and security.
Incident Response: Lead and coordinate email security incident response efforts including investigation mitigation and reporting.
Policy Development: Develop and enforce email security policies and best practices to safeguard against phishing malware and other emailbased threats.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to IT staff and endusers on email security practices and Proofpoint solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest email security trends and Proofpoint product updates to continuously improve the organization’s email security posture.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of email security configurations policies and procedures.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in email security with a focus on Proofpoint solutions.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Proofpoint Certified Security Professional (PCSP) are highly desirable & good to have Azure cloud security MS 500 / SC 100.
Skills:
Strong understanding of email security protocols and technologies.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Proofpoint Email Security solutions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other email security solutions and cybersecurity tools.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to email security.
