You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the supply chain operations of an organization. This role involves monitoring supply chain performance identifying inefficiencies and implementing strategies to improve overall efficiency and reduce costs. The Supply Chain Analyst works closely with procurement logistics and production teams to ensure that the supply chain runs smoothly and meets business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to supply chain performance including inventory levels production schedules transportation costs and supplier performance. Use data analytics tools to identify trends bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes reduce lead times and minimize costs. Work on inventory management demand forecasting and supply planning to enhance efficiency.
Supplier Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance including delivery times quality and costeffectiveness. Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and improve supplier relationships.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure that they align with demand forecasts and production schedules. Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and improve turnover rates.
Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics teams to optimize transportation routes reduce shipping costs and improve delivery times. Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance including key metrics such as cost savings lead times and supplier performance. Present findings to management and recommend actions to address issues.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain such as supplier disruptions transportation delays or inventory shortages. Develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine supply chain processes to improve efficiency and responsiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain operations.
Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including procurement production logistics and finance to ensure alignment and coordination across the supply chain. Support the implementation of new systems and technologies.
Compliance: Ensure that supply chain operations comply with relevant regulations industry standards and company policies. Monitor changes in regulations and adjust processes as needed.
Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g. SAP Oracle JDA) and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau). Familiarity with inventory management demand forecasting and logistics optimization.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present data findings clearly and persuasively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
