You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe UX Research Analyst is responsible for gathering analyzing and interpreting user data to inform the design and development of digital products. This role involves conducting user research analyzing user behavior and providing insights that help create intuitive userfriendly experiences. The UX Research Analyst collaborates closely with designers product managers and developers to ensure that the end product meets the needs and expectations of users.
Key Responsibilities:User Research: Plan design and conduct user research studies including user interviews surveys usability testing and focus groups. Gather qualitative and quantitative data to understand user needs behaviors and pain points.
Data Analysis: Analyze research data to identify trends patterns and insights. Use statistical tools and methods to interpret data and generate actionable recommendations for improving user experience.
Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing on prototypes and live products. Identify usability issues and provide recommendations for design improvements.
Persona Development: Create and maintain user personas based on research data. Ensure that personas accurately represent target user groups and guide design decisions.
Customer Journey Mapping: Develop and analyze customer journey maps to visualize user experiences across different touchpoints. Identify opportunities to enhance the overall user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers product managers and developers to ensure that research findings are integrated into the design and development process. Provide insights that help shape product strategy and design.
Reporting: Prepare and present research findings reports and presentations to stakeholders. Ensure that insights are communicated clearly and effectively to influence design decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest UX research methodologies tools and best practices. Continuously seek ways to improve research processes and contribute to the development of the UX team.
Ethical Research Practices: Ensure that all research activities comply with ethical standards and privacy regulations. Obtain informed consent from participants and handle user data with care and confidentiality.
Education: Bachelors degree in HumanComputer Interaction (HCI) Psychology Sociology Anthropology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in UX research tools such as UserTesting Optimal Workshop and Qualtrics. Experience with data analysis software (e.g. SPSS R) and design tools (e.g. Sketch Figma) is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable design insights.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present research findings clearly and persuasively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Empathy: Deep understanding of usercentered design principles and a strong sense of empathy for users. Ability to advocate for user needs throughout the product development process.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail with a commitment to delivering highquality research outputs.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills.
