Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Learning Specialist to join our team. In this role you will design implement and assess learning programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. You will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs develop educational materials and deliver effective training sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design a passion for fostering employee development and the ability to adapt learning solutions to meet diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training requirements through surveys interviews and performance data analysis.
- Program Development: Design and develop engaging training programs including elearning modules workshops and seminars that align with organizational goals.
- Content Creation: Create and curate instructional materials including manuals guides and multimedia content ensuring clarity and relevance.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions and workshops both inperson and online using various instructional methods and technologies.
- Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback assessments and performance metrics making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and subject matter experts to ensure training content meets specific needs and objectives.
- Support: Provide ongoing support to employees and managers offering guidance and resources to reinforce learning and application.
- Stay Current: Keep uptodate with industry trends and advancements in instructional design and learning technologies to continuously enhance training practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Education Human Resources Organizational Development or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design training or a related role. Experience with elearning platforms and tools is a plus.
- Skills: Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design software (e.g. Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate).
- Certifications: Professional certifications in training or instructional design (e.g. CPLP ATD) are advantageous.
