Agricultural Equipment Mechanic - Mining - Canada

One of our esteemed international clients renowned in the mining industry is seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to join their team. If you have handson experience with John Deere or New Holland equipment and a passion for delivering topquality service this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Diagnostics Repairs and Optimization:

• Perform all duties of a Service Technician including removal disassembly and reconditioning of components.
• Conduct complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
• Engage in some PDI (PreDelivery Inspection) work though it may not be consistently assigned.
• Specialize in certain types of equipment as required.
• Perform a mix of shop and field (road) work as necessary.
• Maintain vehicles inventory tools and equipment in optimal working condition.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Certificate of Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• High School Certificate.
• Over 4 years of experience in service repairs.
• Knowledge of engines hydraulics powertrains airconditioning mechanical and electrical systems relevant to agricultural and turf equipment especially John Deere or New Holland.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Forklift license is preferred.

Critical Capabilities:

• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment according to Technical Manual procedures.
• Eagerness to learn methods materials tools and techniques for repairing agricultural equipment.
• Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly and up to 75 lbs. as needed.
• Flexibility to work varying hours shifts weekends and holidays if necessary.
• Valid drivers license is required.
