This is a remote position.
Position Overview: The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the organization. This role requires a dynamic and experienced leader who can drive the organization s mission manage daytoday operations and engage with stakeholders effectively. The position is remote but coordination with team members and partners across various locations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization s mission and goals.
Provide visionary leadership and foster a positive organizational culture.
Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization representing its interests to stakeholders and the public.
Operational Management:
Oversee the daytoday operations of the organization including program management staff supervision and administrative functions.
Ensure the effective management of resources including budgeting financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Fundraising and Development:
Lead fundraising efforts including developing strategies identifying funding opportunities and building relationships with donors and partners.
Oversee grant writing and reporting processes ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Board Relations:
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set organizational priorities and policies.
Prepare reports and presentations for Board meetings and support Board members in fulfilling their governance responsibilities.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with community organizations partners and other stakeholders.
Represent the organization at meetings conferences and events to enhance visibility and impact.
Program Development and Evaluation:
Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that align with the organization s mission.
Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in nonprofit management business administration social sciences or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit leadership with a proven track record of successful management and fundraising.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Experience with remote work and virtual team management.
