Job Description

We are working with an Automotive company and as part of their continued growth NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Lead Backend Engineer to join their Singapore team.

As a Lead Backend Engineer where you will shape backend architecture lead development and mentor team members. Youll handle microservice architecture optimize databases and promote best practices. The role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams solving complex technical challenges and making impactful decisions on system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design microservices for carsharing services.
  • Own technical scope and functional flows across systems.
  • Optimize PostgreSQL database schemas.
  • Perform handson coding pair programming and code reviews.
  • Evaluate and enhance engineering processes for productivity.
  • Collaborate with product managers designers and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • 12 years as a backend engineer (3 years in team management).
  • Expertise in eventdriven and microservice architecture.
  • Experience with Node.js PostgreSQL AWS Git CI/CD test automation and containerization.
  • Proficiency in software security monitoring and SRE practices.
  • Knowledge of Scrum TDD XP DDD methodologies.
