Job Description
The Munichbased company K5 Media Group with several subsidiaries has specialized in the development (co)production marketing and worldwide distribution of innovative audiovisual productions for over 30 years. Currently we are putting together a team to develop a marketleading product in the audiovisual sector funded by the European Commission.
Tasks
Your Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior VFX and Virtual Production Specialist who will play a central role in developing and implementing visual effects and lighting techniques. You will work closely with the Technical Director to ensure that the lighting is seamlessly integrated into virtual production sets.
Your Responsibilities
Lighting Technology in Virtual Production:
Develop and implement advanced lighting techniques within the virtual production environment.
Work with both virtual and real light sources to ensure seamless integration and highquality visual representation.
VFX Integration:
Integrate lighting techniques into virtual productions to achieve consistent and realistic representations of moving light sources and reflections.
Measurement Technology and Laboratory Work:
Conduct experiments and tests to validate and optimize lighting techniques especially concerning the capture and representation of light sources in real time.
Project Management and Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the Technical Director and other team members to ensure that the approaches are correctly implemented and the desired visual effects are achieved.
Requirements
What you need to succeed
- Extensive experience in VFX and virtual production workflows.
- Knowledge of using Unreal Engine for virtual productions.
- Experience in working with lighting techniques and cameras in real and virtual environments.
What is advantageous
- Experience in video technology and photography.
