Job Description
Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Assist in fulfilling the Companys compliance requirements in relation to various legal frameworks including Banking Rules.
- Aid in maintaining enhancing and implementing controls to reduce compliance risks.
- Provide support in compliance testing and monitoring along with analyzing results to identify gaps.
- Raise concerns to the Compliance Manager when necessary.
- Help in developing new test reviews and checks.
- Contribute to the Companys robust compliance structure ensuring the compliance register is current.
- Promote compliance awareness and foster a strong compliance culture across the organization.
- Offer general assistance to the Compliance Manager including on adhoc projects or tasks.
Requirements
- A qualification in banking finance or law from a recognized European institution or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar position within Banking or Financial Services
- Solid knowledge of Maltese and EU banking regulations including Banking Rules.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tasks under pressure.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel.
