Job Description

Duties and Tasks:

  • Under the supervision of the NOVACard Operations Supervisor the individual in this position will be responsible for providing technical resolution for the the Colleges Print NOVACard Electronic Door Access and electronic key boxes program hardware and networking applications and equipment in the operations of the programs.
  • Managing projects and delegating to staff.
  • Coordinate with different departments concerning project and ensure requirements and specifications are met.
  • Provides technical expertise and daytoday operational guidance to the department and all related software and hardware provides onsite support for all major projects.
  • Assign tasks concerning NOVACard programs to the team track progress monitoring team members tasks and ensuring deadlines are met based on feedback from the Supervisors assessment to whether the quality of the work is acceptable.
  • The NOVACard Operation Senior Technician acts as the first level escalation point for more complex or critical issues and inquiries.
  • Provide 247 support of all systems that fall within the responsibility of the NOVACard Operations as needed.
  • Ongoing evaluation of system software and hardware based on best practices to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives.
  • Coordinates and schedules work assignments relating to projects.
  • Ensure team is trained on all systems and devices that are the responsibility of the NOVACard Operations department.
  • Oversee the department by providing directions to the NOVACard Operations team when the Supervisor is out of the office.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in analyzing and diagnosing routine and unusual computer operation and card reader equipment problems.
  • Experience in team project management and delegation.
  • Experience in providing customer service to users and managers.
  • Experience configure devices
  • Experience working with hardware configurations and administrating database systems.
  • Valid drivers license.
