Job Summary:
As an Accountant you will be responsible for managing financial transactions maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will work closely with other departments to support financial planning and analysis contribute to the preparation of financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
- Support monthend and yearend closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Perform general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 1 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
