Position Overview: The Financial Services Operations Manager will oversee the daytoday operations of our financial services division ensuring efficiency accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in optimizing processes managing teams and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations including transaction processing account management and financial reporting. Ensure that all operations comply with company policies industry regulations and best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and technological solutions to streamline workflows.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of operations staff providing guidance training and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. Monitor and manage risks associated with financial operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Client Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients addressing their needs and resolving any issues related to financial services operations. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. Analyze key performance indicators and operational metrics to drive datainformed decisionmaking.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in projects related to operational improvements system upgrades and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Accounting or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g. CFA CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (5 years) in financial services operations with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of financial products services and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
