You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailTechnical Division is looking for Planning Officer to be part of Engine Shop Management Department.
You will be the department focal on manpower rostering and allocation for certifying staff and mechanics to ensure manpower is available for scheduled and un-scheduled tasks to support Engine Facility production and borescope inspection operations. Capable to work as a department admin for arranging duty travels, technical trainings, coordinating department meetings, tracking certifying staff training and authorization expiry.
Some of the tasks include:
• Develop the roster for certifying staff and mechanics to ensure manpower are available as forecasted by EF Planning & Scheduling Team on weekly basis to support Engine Facility production and borescope inspection operations.
• Manage, review and Approve Leaves/ Extended leaves/ Sick leaves/ Emergency leaves/ Duty travel as per approved Company policies based on the approved engine facility annual leave plan.
• Arrange and coordinate with Technical Training department for the schedule of required training for engine facility staff as per the regulatory or company requirement
• Maintain up to date record of all staff related to their Competency assessment and authorization matrix of Certifying staff skills on specialized task as required per relevant Technical Procedure Manual (TPM) for engine facility.
• Arranging Duty travel and assign the manpower to support AOG (aircraft on-ground) situations, in coordination with Engine Facility Manager or Supervisor, EF Planning team and Line/Base Resource scheduler to facilitate AOG on-time recovery.
• Support Planning Engineer in engine facility dashboard data collection and analysis related to staff leaves, SL, training and duty travel required to be presented for the Technical management review.
• Perform all Admin functions related to engine facility that includes but not limited to arranging duty travels, finance approval requests using oracle, arranging stationaries etc.
• Issue monthly authorization expiry notification to concerned staff to avoid any task allocation or use of expired authorization to prevent regulatory non-compliance.
• Arranging business meetings, duty travels (Out of Qatar) for Engine Facility management and other staff as per company requirement.
• Processing QR ID and airport entry passes for the 3rd party staff working at Engine Facility as and when required.
• Keep track of 3rd party staff attendance and process their salaries in coordination with 3rd party admin.
