Job Description
Position Name Finance Controller
Location Bangalore
Experience Range 3 5 years
Mandatory Requirement:
- CA or CFA or MBA Finance
- Should have worked with a D2C Startup or FMCG
- Controllership
About the client:
The client is a disruptive modern and ecoconscious kids skin and hair care products from 100% recycled plastic specially formulated for children aged 314 in India.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting taxation and compliance
- Preparation of annual operating plan & budget
- Preparation of monthly MIS & various other management reports and annual statutory audit completion with Big 4 audit firm
- Set up SOPs and internal control across the organization
- Inventory management & review
- Customer & collection and Vendor & payment & payroll management
- Treasury management and debt raise and covenants management
- Compliance with Income tax GST Labour Laws and statutory compliance including registration of commercial law compliances
- Work with external or inhouse finance team for daytoday finance operations
- Support Fundraise due diligence investor presentation
- Oversee company act compliances applicable to the company on various transaction
- Work with external consultants and law firms to ensure compliance
- Lead the investor relation functions
Qualification and Experience
- 24 years experience in startups/FMCG financial roles.
- Have a deep understanding of reconciliation and sales and are able to identify early indicators of risks.
- A Masters Degree in Finance / Professional Finance Qualification / CA/ ACCA or equivalent.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders internal and external is essential.
