Job Description
Overview
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and optimizing SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Work on database schema design and data modeling tasks
- Support database management tasks including backups restores and replication
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Assist in writing and optimizing stored procedures and functions
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of database documentation
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on databaserelated code
- Assist in testing and debugging database applications
- Gain understanding of database security and assist in implementing best practices
- Support data analysis and reporting requirements
Required qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Basic understanding of SQL and MySQL database concepts
- Knowledge of database design principles and data modeling
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries
- Understanding of database management tasks such as backups restores and replication
- Basic understanding of database security practices
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Passion for learning and growing within a dynamic technologydriven organization
