As a Securities Lawyer you will advise clients on matters related to securities law including public offerings private placements and regulatory compliance. You will draft and review legal documents manage securities transactions and represent clients in dealings with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on securities law including public offerings private placements and compliance with securities regulations.
- Draft review and file legal documents related to securities transactions.
- Represent clients in negotiations and interactions with regulatory bodies.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for securitiesrelated transactions.
- Stay informed of changes in securities law and advise clients accordingly.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
- 3 years of experience in securities law preferably with a focus on corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of securities regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
