Sr Fund Accountant

Seeking a Sr Fund Accountant role for a great nonprofit organization. In this role you will be responsible for fund accounting general ledger reporting and AP/ AR. If you are seeking an opportunity to make a positive difference in the community this is the job for you.


What skills you should have:

• Journal entries monthly bank account reconciliations and month end close and reporting experience needed.
• You will maintain fixed asset schedules and assist with the annual budget while monitoring year to date data.
• Follows policies and procedures including educating others on the team in these area.

What you will need to be successful:

• 4 years of accounting experience in a non profit or public school system working with the reporting requirements.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with Fund Accounting General ledger reporting and functional areas of accounting such as A/P A/R and payroll
• Good organizational and time management skills and setting priorities and communicating with the team.
• Strong ethical standard and good sense of confidentiality
• Good systems skills including advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills needed.
