Head of Leasing

• Develop and execute detailed leasing strategies including key account management and business plans for retail projects to foster success and growth.
  
• Assist in the budgeting process for rental income and overall business plans ensuring that financial targets are achieved.
  
• Direct and oversee the leasing department to meet revenue and occupancy objectives ensuring the team achieves performance targets.
  
• Analyze the target market or geographic demographics for mall development and establish a proposed tenancy mix and strategic placemaking or catalytic tenants to capture market share.
  
• Develop and implement leasing strategies and tactics to optimize and increase rental revenue secure longer lease terms and create an attractive and diverse tenant mix.
  
• Manage all leasing and tenancyrelated matters ensuring effective handling and resolution of tenant issues across retail projects to maintain strong tenant relationships.
  
• Collaborate closely with various departments within the Retail Division such as Operations Marketing Communications FitOut & Facilities Finance and Legal to ensure a smooth leasing process.
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including the Township Integrated Leisure and Placemaking teams to support the development of new retail projects.
  
• Foster and utilize strong relationships with coworking space tenants and industry professionals to boost leasing opportunities.
  
• Supervise retail planning and leasing within the Retail Investment & Asset Management division by collaboration with relevant departments to develop implement and manage the retail strategy and leasing activities.
  
• Responsible for the annual leasing plan financial budgeting and P&L management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Business or any related field.
  
• At least 10 15 years experience with at least 8 years in leasing managerial role.
  
• Exceptional skills in communication including interaction speaking and presenting effectively.
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and collaborate successfully within teams..
  
• Proficient in analyzing trends and evaluating business performance.
  
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional performance in previous roles.
  
• Experienced in establishing and nurturing positive relationships with tenants.
  
• adept at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  
• Skilled at analyzing complex problems and devising strategic solutions.
  
• Knowledgeable in tenant mix strategies and zoning regulations
