Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines systems and equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
Conduct regular inspections and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
Communicate effectively with other crew members and superiors regarding any mechanical issues or concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times
Assist with emergency repairs and maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanic in the marine industry
Strong knowledge of marine engines systems and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours and be oncall for emergency repairs
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
