Sales Engineer : Smart Meter sales experience in selling to Oil and Gas Industry
Education: B.E / B.Tech Electrical & Electronics
Year of Experience: 1 2 years
Type of Employment: Permanent
Work location : Bangalore
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role you will provide
technical expertise and support to the sales team assisting in bidding and
conducting product demonstrations for customers. As a Sales Engineer you will
have the chance to enhance your sales abilities expand product knowledge and
refine your skills in customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
The role involves the following responsibilities:
1. Organize and maintain bidrelated documents including RFP/RFQ
documentation project files and proposal templates.
2. Conduct product demonstrations and proofofconcepts to showcase
product features benefits and technical capabilities.
3. Collaborate with the technical team and vendor to gather relevant
information and ensure compliance with customer requirements and
company standards.
4. Prepare sales reports forecasts and presentations to provide insights to the
sales team and management.
5. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Requirements:
1. A bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
2. Strong interest in sales and a desire to develop a career in technical sales
3. Strong communication interpersonal customer service and sales skills.
4. Excellent technical and problemsolving skills.
5. Willingness to travel to customer sites or industry events as required.
6. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) for
documentation and presentations
7.Fluency in Kannada
8.Experience in selling Smart meter to Oil and Gas industry
